When I was little I used to dream about what I would be when I grew up. For a while I wanted to be a dancer, and then I decided I wanted to be a vet. Once I found out vet's had to put animals to sleep, I decided that I didn't want to be a vet anymore. Then one day, while I was doing my homework, I decided I wanted to be a teacher. I still to this day want to become a teacher.
When I was in elementary school, I loved going to school. All my teachers made school exciting. I actually liked doing homework in elementary school. I thought it was fun. I loved school so much, that in my free time I would play school. I would pretend to be the teacher, and I would make my little sister be the student. Sometimes she didn't want to play, so I had to settle for my stuffed animals. I would give fake tests, and then I would grade them. I loved grading those fake tests; I would always put stickers on them. Playing school was fun, and I decided I wanted to do it for real. I wanted to become a teacher.
I have wanted to be a teacher since elementary school. I think that it would be a job that makes me happy. I want to be one of those cool teachers that kids love. I don't want to be one of those teachers that kids hate, and are afraid of. My class is going to be fun not boring. I'm going to make kids want to come to my class. I want kids to go home, and tell their parents how much they love going to my class. I want to be just like my first grade teacher Mrs. Kash. She was my favorite teacher. Our class would have writing time, which was time when we learned how to write cursive. Mrs. Kash would go out in the hallway, put on an army hat, and then come back into the room. When she came back into the room, she was no longer Mrs. Kash, she was General Kash. It was pretty cool. I loved writing time. Mrs. Kash would even talk like an actual army general. She is one of the reasons I want to be a teacher, and my goal is to be a great teacher like her.
When I become a teacher, after I graduate college, I want to teach the third grade. Third grade students are not too old and not too young. I don’t want to teach kids any older than third grade, because they start getting attitudes and they loose their cuteness. I want the little kids, but I actually want to teach. I don’t want to finger paint and have naptime, like in kindergarten. I think third grade is a good grade to teach for me. Third grade was a fun time for me. That was the year our class got to watch baby chicks. Our class got the chicks when they were still eggs, and we got to watch them hatch. It was an amazing thing to watch. After all the chicks hatched, our class had to give them back to the farm. Also in third grade, our class took a lot of field trips. We went to the recycling plant, and we went to a play in Chicago. Third grade was a fun year.
I have wanted to become a teacher since I was in elementary school. I want to be a fun teacher, that kids love. I hope that in the future I'm as good as a teacher, as my first grade teacher Mrs. Kash. I loved her and she's one of the reasons I want to be a teacher. When I become a teacher, I want to teach the third grade. Third grade was a fun year for me, and it's the perfect age for me to teach. Third grade students are not too old and not too young. I hope that I'm good at teaching, and that my students will like me. I can't wait to be a teacher.
